ESB Telecoms is Ireland's leading independent telecommunications infrastructure provider, delivering high quality, turnkey communications network solutions.

We own and manage in excess of 300 telecommunication structures and sites located in every county throughout Ireland. These are used by all major Irish telecommunications companies. ESB Telecoms is in the process of a multi-million-Euro development programme specifically targeting major transmission sites in urban and other strategic locations in Ireland.

What We Do

ESB Telecoms originally provided communications installations primarily for our parent company, ESB. We provide the infrastructure on which ESB's Microwave, mobile radio and SCADA networks operate. In recent years, we have grown a substantial external customer base, supporting a wide range of private and public sector business activities.

It is ESB Telecoms policy to develop our sites for co-location in line with the Department of the Environment Guidelines to Telecommunications Antenna and Support Structures 1996. Our communications structures are designed to the highest international standard to minimise visual impact on the surrounding areas and to facilitate the co-location with other operators. This policy aims to limit the number of such structures appearing on urban and rural skylines.

ESB Telecoms with its highly developed skills and strategic partnerships has the ability to provide purpose built telecommunications sites on a once off basis or as part of a network roll out. We have used ESB engineering and telecoms expertise as a platform to which we have added site acquisition, construction and project management. This mixed with our external commercial experience, leads to a blend of technical excellence and superior customer service.
